First Ever Adult Education: Course Description and Registration Materials

After every Open House, many parents comment, “I wish I could go to school at Waynflete.”  During visits home, many alums hearken back to their days as Waynflete students and wish they could return.  Here is a chance for a limited number of adults to fulfill those wishes. For the first time in its long history, Waynflete will offer a course for adults.  Fashioned after the highly successful Upper Division English elective they co-taught last spring, Phuc Tran and Taffy Field will team up again next semester to teach The Language of Social Class; Language as Unifier, Language as Divider.  The course will feature a blended format with both in-person or face-to-face sessions on campus (“students” from away will be able to attend these virtually) and online materials and discussions.
